Captain Matty Groves
Captain Matty Groves is a dedicated full time charter captain who's goal is to
give his clients a fishing adventure of a lifetime! Fishing since he was a small
child he knows all of the tips and tricks needed to land fish after fish and
keep his clients as busy as possible with their rod and reel. Offering both salt
water fishing for Striped Bass, Haddock and Cod along with fly fishing for the
powerful Brood Stock Atlantic Salmon Capt. Matty will not disappoint you!
Salt Water Fishing
Hop aboard Captain Matty's 22' Hydrosport center console and get ready for non
stop line screaming thrills. Your trip will begin in the Merrimack river where
you will exit the mouth into the Atlantic in search for large schools of
Mackerel or Pollock. After reeling in several of these small but feisty fish on
ultra light tackle you will return to the Merrimack for some drift fishing for
the East Coasts most popular game fish, the Striped Bass. These powerful fish
will have you complaining of "Striper" arm in no time as your arms burn from
fighting fish after fish. Also ask about Haddock and Cod trips where you will
head into the Atlantic to reel in some of the tastiest fish in the sea. All
equipment supplied so there is no hassle! Just bring something to eat and your
favorite beverage and leave the rest to Captain Matty!
